#MeetOurSistersTour2021 is open to anyone who wants to help build a culture of #vocation in our world by better understanding religious life. Students, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors – all are welcome!

Sister Celia Ashton, OCD entered the Carmelite Sisters of Baltimore in 2013 and professed solemn vows in 2019. As a Discalced Carmelite nun she is interested in prayer as a way to wholeness, transformation, healing, and societal change. She enjoys theology and is interested in interpreting Carmelite texts for a new generation, studying the work of Teilhard de Chardin and Karl Rahner, and exploring the intersection of faith and science. Prior to entering religious life she practiced dentistry for 10 years. She relishes biking and taking scenic walks. Meet Sr. Celia on Thursday night's panel! |

Sister Grace Marie del Priore, CSSF is a Sister of St. Felix of Cantalice, also known as the Felician Sisters. She is a pre-tertian and professed final vows in 2017. She is the archivist for her province and an avid reader and writer.

Sister Kristen Forgotch, ASC is a temporary professed Adorer of the Blood of Christ who currently is teaching second grade at a school in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She feels called to minister where the need is the greatest, wherever that takes her.

Sister Leslie Keener, CDP is a sister of the Congregation of Divine Providence of Kentucky. She's the director of God Space, a community-building spirituality ministry in Cincinnati, and she also meets with people for spiritual direction, hosts the Providence Podcast, and serves as the vocation director for her community. She enjoys music, meaningful conversations, and spicy food.

Sister Annie Killian is a Dominican Sister of Peace and second-year novice. She currently holds a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, where she works in community engagement at the Medieval Institute. She is passionate about teaching in the humanities and learning what the spiritual wisdom of the past has to offer us for the future.

Sister Christa Parra, IBVM took final vows with the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 2016. She is a third generation Mexican-American from a small town on the U.S./Mexico border and is blessed to be part of an intercultural intercongregational community, Magnificat House, in El Paso, Texas and accompany our brothers and sisters in Ciudad Juárez who are seeking asylum in the U.S.

Sister Romina Sapinoso, SC is a temporarily professed Sister of Charity of Cincinnati. She currently lives at Magnificat House, an inter-congregational, inter-cultural home on the US/Mexico border. She serves in shelters and education settings on both sides of the border.
