Sisters do an ‘a-maizing’ job of preparing Mount corn harvest

Nothing says summer at Maple Mount like the annual days of corn preparation. On Aug. 2, 2022, the Ursuline Sisters – with help from Ursuline Associate Carolyn McCarty and her husband John – began shucking and cleaning an estimated 1,700 ears of corn from the Mount farm. The Sisters and their staff enjoy the corn as part of their meals for the next year. Here are photos from the morning crew.
