Giving Voice sisters, you are invited! Giving Voice / SOA Watch Convergence at the Border, October 7-10, 2016
All Giving Voice sisters are invited to join other sisters at the SOAW Border Convergence at Nogales, AZ, October 7-10, 2016.
Giving Voice sisters who join the convergence will participate in the program together, wear Giving Voice T-Shirts, and participate in a meeting of sisters interested in immigration issues. Giving Voice will also assist with housing, food, and transportation from the Tucson airport to Nogales, as we are able. If you will attend, please register HERE by September 10th.
All Giving Voice sisters are also invited to host prayer services in solidarity of the Convergence throughout the country the weekend of October 7-10, 2016. Giving Voice sisters who host a prayer service for immigration reform will be provided with a prayer service, a media/publicity kit, and a Giving Voice T-shirt. Giving Voice will also inform congregational leadership teams about the opportunity to host prayer services in a couple weeks, so you may want to inform your leadership team of your plans.
