Organizing for the Future
The Giving Voice Core Team recently mailed out our to religious congregations. We are excited to share some of the news we shared in the letter about our progress. This past year, Giving Voice:
- Increased the stability of the organization by forming a non-profit corporation.
- Established a relationship with a fiscal sponsor while we explore tax-exempt status.
- Worked to create a sustainable leadership structure with rotating Core Team membership.
- Maintained regular communication via our monthly e-newsletter.
- Updated our website and social networking presence.
- Encouraged relationship-building between younger religious across the miles using technology.
- Networked with leadership, vocation and formation personnel via LCWR, NRVC, and RFC.
- Hosted in-person and virtual gatherings of younger women religious.
