Welcoming New Staff and Core Team member

Giving Voice is excited to welcome two new people this month. Ryan Hoffman has been hired as our Communications Coordinator. Ryan comes to us with a wealth of creativity, energy and experience working with Catholic organizations. His expertise in communications will be a great assistance to the Core Team in attending to the needs of the ever-expanding Giving Voice network!   Ryan adds, "I am thrilled to join Giving Voice and partner with young women religious as they answer a call to Gospel love and service. I am excited about the work we'll do together to empower younger women religious and build up the reign of God."   Ryan will work out of the Giving Voice office housed at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Funding for this position comes from a generous grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.

We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Sarah Heger, CSJ who will join the Core Team in September. Sarah will be a great addition to our team! She ministers as the principal at Marian Middle School in St. Louis.  Sarah says, "I hope Giving Voice will continue to be a place of support for younger sisters–a reminder that we are never alone in the journey.  I hope that our contagious energy ignites passion for religious life and the future, as well as inspiring and bringing joy to the places of the world where we minister."  You can read more about Sarah here. The Core Team consists of 5-6 sister volunteers who hold the leadership of Giving Voice. Leadership rotates among the members every few years. Core Team members generally serve no more than four years.
