My first experience with Giving Voice was in 2017 in New York, and it was truly transformative. I felt rejuvenated and energized by the vibrant atmosphere and the sense of community. It was also so much fun! For a long time, I hadn’t known much about Giving Voice or the connections it fosters among women religious. I am deeply grateful to Sr. Rejane Cytacki, who first introduced me to Giving Voice during our Life Commitment Retreat in Santa Cruz in 2013. Her encouragement and enthusiasm planted the seeds for me to seek out this supportive network, and my experience there has only deepened my commitment to our shared mission

Religious life is a bold and radical journey, marked by profound joy and deep fulfillment. It calls us to live counter to the norms of the world, embracing simplicity, selflessness, and a dedication to something greater than ourselves. This path is not always easy, but it brings a unique, abiding joy—a joy that comes from living a life rooted in faith, love, and service. In choosing this life, we witness to a hope that transcends the everyday and draw closer to the Divine Mystery that calls us to be instruments of peace, justice and compassion in the world.
