Celebrate Christmas Alive in You!

Advent is a funny time of year. We prepare our hearts and lives for the coming of Jesus into the world. Yet, Jesus was born over 2,000 years ago. Over and over and over, every December, we celebrate the truth that God is with us, we continue to sing, “O come, o come, Emmanuel.”

Every year our Advent preparation calls us into deeper relationship with Christ, bringing God more present to the world.

But how many times must we do Advent before we actualize God with us so fully that every day is Christmas?

God is an incarnational God.

If we are waiting for Jesus to come,

if we are waiting to Emmanuel,

we are waiting in vain.

Jesus is born.

God is with us.
