Core Team Meeting
Intentional time for prayer, deep conversation and fun. These were the main components for the Core Team meeting throughout the weekend of June 3-5. Most gathered in person thanks to the hospitality of the Congregation of St. Joseph and the sisters in LaGrange, IL, while our international team member Zoomed in.
Thanks to Vicki Wuolle, CSA, our discernment process facilitator, we had an agenda that focused on what is life-giving about Giving Voice and how to carry that into the future for the whole. We grounded ourselves in and practiced the Circle Way, we learned about Living Systems in times of great change and renewal, and reflected on our Mission Statement and the possibilities for Giving Voice at this time.
There was a spirit of joy and gratitude for the gift of GV in each of our lives. This was made even more clear by the fantastic Chicago-area GV Sisters cook-out we had at a local convent. We left feeling hopeful about our shared future as GV sisters and committed to the discernment process we have initiated to engage the whole GV community to address structures and relationships at this time of amazing opportunity.
