Sisters choosing religious life
Congratulations to all our sisters celebrating milestones in religious life this past month. Thank you for your yes. And we pray for more women to live out this courageous call.
- August 3 – Sr. Jane Aseltyne, IHM professed perpetual vows with the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary – Monroe. Video here.
- August 10 – Sr. Jamie Caporizo entered the Novitiate of the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
- August 11 – a very big day!
- Sr. Katherine Frazier, OP professed perpetual vows as an Adrian Dominican Sister. Katherine serves on her congregational Vocation Team and is also Executive Director for Dominican Youth Movement.
- Sr. Maria Dela Paz, OSF professed perpetual vows as a Franciscan Sister of Philadelphia. Peaches, as we know her, will will be moving to Chicago this month to begin a Masters in Divinity at Loyola University.

- August 16 – Sr. Seyram Mary Adzokpa, SSF professed her first vows as a Sister of the Holy Family (Louisiana). You can listen to her faith journey on the Flourishing Sisterhood podcast from this past July.
- August 19 – another big day!
- Sr. Stephanie Rivas was received into the novitiate of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
- Sr. Theresa Nguyen entered the novitiate for the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd.
