Cool experience this morning!

I joined 496 people from around the world on Zoom for day one of a two day “Praying with Creation Laudato Si Retreat.”

Participants joined from Pakistan, Rome, Wisconsin, Peru, Italy, Nigeria… everywhere, it seems. The goal of this two-day retreat is to “embark on an ‘ecological conversion’ journey.” It was very prayerful and engaging.


It is part of a full week of activities (next week) to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Pope Francis’s Laudato Si.

Sunday 24 May is the Global Day of Prayer for the Fifth Anniversary of Laudato Si .
Catholics around the world will pray a common prayer at 12:00 pm noon local time. The prayer is available here [https://laudatosiweek.org/prayer/] for you to pray at home, in your small group, or wherever you find yourself at noon.
