Community News from New Ways Ministry
New Ways Ministry is sponsoring a conference for lesbian religious, congregational leaders, and vocation/formation ministers, Dec. 5, 2020, 12 noon – 4:00 pm, EST. As with other programs because of the pandemic, this conference will be a Zoom meeting.
The program, “Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. Why Does It Matter?” will unravel terms such as LGBTQIA, Gender Identity/Expression, Gender Expansive, Intersex, and Queer. To help us do this, the program will feature Dr. Susan C Turell, a licensed psychologist, researcher, academic, author, and administrator with expertise in LGBTQ+ issues. The time will also include prayer and large & small group sharing.
