I first attended a Giving Voice Retreat in Tampa Florida in 2009 when I was a novice. I couldn’t believe that there were so many other women who were around my age and passionate about religious life. It was fun to be with others who understood my references based on age and life experience.

My favorite thing about Giving Voice is the relationships I have formed and sustained over the years. There are several Giving Voice members who made final vows the same year as I did. I love attending Giving Voice events because of the solidarity I feel among members. It is also a place where I can have fun with others who understand what religious life is.
