Free Development Webinar Open to all Giving Voice Sisters

Next month, Giving Voice will host a free webinar with Development Professional Kathy Caudill, JD, CFRE, to help Sisters learn about the ministry of fundraising. In her presentation, Kathy, who has worked as a Development Director for nonprofit organizations since 2006, will discuss Development as a Ministry, with sources including Henri Nouwen and Kerry Alys Robinson. Kathy will also give Sisters practical ideas on fundraising best-practices and be available to answer questions. Sisters will also be invited to contribute their ideas and skills to new fundraising initiatives with Giving Voice.

Since 2006, Kathy Caudill has worked as Development Director for nonprofit organizations in the Chicago area, including a women’s Benedictine community, a legal services group, and a Jesuit retreat house.

Kathy became a Certified Fundraising Executive in 2012. Her development experience includes cultivating donor relationships, gift acknowledgement, newsletters and other communications, direct annual appeals, grants, planned gifts, special events, and a current capital campaign.

Kathy received her BA from the College of Saint Benedict, and her law degree from the University of Iowa.  An attorney licensed to practice in Illinois since 1984, Kathy practiced law full-time for more than ten years, concentrating her practice in estate planning, estate administration and residential real estate.  Her legal experiences, and skills developed as a parishioner/parent/volunteer, have served her well in her work advancing the mission of nonprofit organizations.
