I went on my first dig, to Tell Safut Jordan, at seventeen! 

I was thrilled to be a guest blogger for A Nun’s Life ministry this month. I shared the story of how I have always known I wanted to be an archaeologist…but it look longer for me to recognize my call to become a Sister. I was delighted by the support that my post gathered–not only from women religious, but also from the many archaeologists with whom I am friends.  That support, from both facets of my life has been one of the ways that I am able to continue to pursue both of these callings.
