Core Team Update

In February, the Core Team met in St. Louis for our yearly face-to-face meeting.  While our monthly Zoom meetings make our leadership structure possible from our various locations across the country, it is always good to get together in person, particularly for evaluation, long term planning, and direction setting.  One exciting part of the meeting was welcoming Sophie, Giving Voice's new communication director and administrative assistant.  Sophie has jumped right in and quickly become a part of the team.  A few big agenda items that were discussed include:

• New initiatives stemming from strategic planning to utilize funds from our Hilton Grant for leadership opportunities, inclusion, and sustainability;
• Strengthening recording and reporting of finances;
• Surfacing names for service on Giving Voice's Core Team, work groups, and committees for ongoing and upcoming work.

Throughout the strategic planning process, we heard loud and clear from our participants, consultants, and supporting communities the value of Giving Voice for the sisters who participate and the emerging future of religious life.  Thank you, in advance, for your continuing support of the organization and the exciting endeavors born in the hearts of participants for the sake of the Gospel.
